Director’s Message
The Faculty of Music and Arts “Professor Manuel Barroso Ramírez” arose at the need to professionalize the musicians of our state, through its 46 years of existence, their cultural and artistic movement has grown for the good of all its habitants. Graduates of the educational programs are now working in the educational and musical fields of various states of the country and abroad.

Organize the efforts of the Faculty of Music and Arts “Professor Manuel Barroso Ramírez” educational community so that each one recognizes themself as necessary, contributes their talent, enthusiasm and the best of themself in the achievement of the formation of our students. They are the reason of the college labor, when they finish their studies they will have in their baggage the necessary tools to transform their environment, they will be the persons Mexico needs and the professionals of tomorrow that will set the course for a prosperous, fair and free country.

That the entire educational community work collaboratively and by mutual agreement so our graduates become art educators and quality musicians who put their knowledge in motion, proficiencies, cultivate their values and participate in the transformation of a society that will require art to adapt to changes. Handle uncertainty, explore the indefinite and apply a flexible judgment for a harmonious coexistence and a better understanding of the reality around them.

The student will be at the center of the task, will set in motion their academic development and will have spaces to demonstrate them, will work with interdisciplinary projects to move their knowledge, skills and values, will participate together with their teachers in the transformation of the academic life of the Faculty of Music and Arts "Mtro. Manuel Barroso Ramírez" and through the link with their environment.

Teachers will find spaces for communication, pedagogical and methodological support as well as the exchange of successful actions in order to enrich their teaching practice. In this sense, the constant actualization of their knowledge and skills will be one of the permanent actions just as the necessary support for the certification of desirable profiles.
